Can we meet before booking?

Absolutely. I strongly believe that relationship with your photographer is extremely important. There are a lot of wedding photographers out there, and it is crucial to find the right one for you. So I always prefer to meet my clients before the booking or at least arrange a Skype/phone meeting to get a general vibe.

I love my clients and can easily call them my friends. We go through a lot of planning for the big day, have fun during engagement shoots and wedding day. Clicking with my couples is essential for achieving candid beautiful images.

We are not into posey stuff...

Great, neither am I! I don’t fake anything and my goal is to capture the essence of your big day. I want to create images that will reflect your personality, what makes you – you. I believe that everyone is unique and beautiful in their own way and I love discovering what you are about. I will document your day as it happens, with all tears of joy, smiles, people that you love. During bride and groom photo session I will find great photo locations and light and will give you advice on some poses and moves – after that there will be little to no direction from me and we will get magical candid results.

I will always take care of your wedding day, just because I have the experience and you will notice how calm and positive I am on the day. Majority of the time I will melt into the background, so you won’t even notice me taking pictures. But I will always be there for you, I will keep an eye on the time, make sure everything runs smoothly, help with anything you might need on the day, hug your parents, dance with your bridal party.

I just genuinly want you to have the best experience of your life and beautiful images, that will remind you what an incredible day it was!

We are camera shy...

Not a problem! I hear it all the time. Every image that you see in my portfolio is of people like you and I, people who have little to no experience in front of professional camera. This is why it is so important to find “your’ photographer, someone with whom you would feel at ease, relax and be yourself. You connection with the photographer will directly reflect on the images

What is the booking process?

Once I confirm, that date is available I will send you AIPP wedding agreement and a personalized quote with all the inclusions of your package. Booking deposit is 50% AUD and is not refundable. It will secure your date. The remainder is due 4 weeks before the wedding.

For Premium packages that include Fine Art Albums, our signature Black Label Package and bookings for 2019+ we offer flexible payment plan that we can discuss before your booking.

Can you hold the date for us?

I can’t hold the date for you, but I can let you know if someone enquires for the same date. However, who pays their deposit first secures the date.

What are your payment options?

We understand how overwhelming wedding expenses can be and are open to different payment options: direct debit, payment plans, credit cards, paypal, etc. We are always flexible and can discuss further, depending on individual circumstances.

We have recently partnered with Afterpay that will allow you to make payment of wedding coverage, albums or prints with 4 interest-free instalments. How good is that!

From you we also expect respect and prompt payments. This is not a hobby as some might think and we also need to pay our bills and expenses on time. So we count on you as much as you count on us.

If you have any questions regarding payment options, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Are you AIPP accredited?

Yes of course. Since 2012 I am AIPP accredited professional photographer #13593 (Australian Institute of Professional Photography).

Accreditation is not a simple thing, it requires a proof of legitimate business, portfolio assessment, work within code of conduct and certain amount of years in the business. Some photographers say they don`t belong to AIPP because membership is given to anyone paying a fee. This is not true. Although there is a small administration fee payable for AIPP like any other membership (this is not a charity organization), membership is granted on mentioned above criteria.

AIPP is the only photography organization in Australia regulating photography business, not just wedding photography, and anyone who is serious about their work belong to the organization.

What is your style?

I am very romantic and I love natural candid moments. I always aim to achieve images that would represent my couples as they are. During the day there will be a few staged posed shots –  mainly family portraits and formals. Apart from that everything will be captured in photo-journalistic style with elements of fine art as I strive to create something beautiful with every image. During bridal photoshoot I am directing my couples in a way where they can still be themselves. I will find the best and most flattering light, give an advice on a few poses and from there let you enjoy yourselves and make some magical photographs.

Do you edit all photos?

Yes. I edit every single picture myself. I take a lot of photos on the day, and I want you to have them all.

Do you use natural light or speedlights

I am mainly a natural light photographer. This is what I love and I believe it creates more ethereal soft images allowing me to be completely unobstructive and capture those beautiful candid moments. I use speedlights (flash) only in low light conditions such as church and reception. I also use a little soft-box (diffusor) on my speedlight to achieve very even and flattering light on my subject (not bright and hush)

Do you offer albums and prints?

I believe that wedding images have to be printed. There is nothing more special than having beautiful wedding pictures hanging on the walls, every day reminding you of this special time in your lives. I offer a range of beautiful fine art prints, wall mounts and canvases. I also have a wide selection of fine art lay flat wedding albums.  You can choose from different sizes, finishes, thickness of pages, engraving and cover material options (around 50). Have a look at some examples here

When do we receive our photos?

It depends on the amount of pictures we take. Up to 60 business days but usually faster. You also receive 20+ image sneak peak within next few days after the wedding.

Do you offer videography?

We don’t. But we can recommend a few great videographers for different budget and taste. Please ask us.

Do you travel?

I love photographing weddings in different locations around Australia: Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Bowral, Central Coast and beyond.

Do you have insurance?

Of course. At the moment I have $20,000,000 public liability insurance and can provide it to the venue or Council on request.

Where are you located?

We are located at 491 Wickham Tce, Brisbane Australia and cover weddings anywhere in Australia and worldwide

What are destination weddings?

Why not to go somewhere breathtaking!  Maybe just two of you. Imagine romantic photoshoot in Paris, Tuscany or Iceland! It will be unique, special, beautiful and memorable.

Each year I accept limited amount of bookings for overseas weddings and elopements. I will be working alongside your wedding planner and custom tailor a photo timeline. Arriving at least a day in advance, I will scout all the locations looking for elegant angles and lyrical compositions. Together we will create extraordinary images that will provide exquisite keepsakes for years to come.

Where do you travel?

My favourite destinations include Iceland, Scotland, New Zealand, Italy, Switzerland. I love wilderness and as a professional landscape photographer I have skill and equipment to beautifully capture location of your destination wedding.

I feel very inspired to go on adventure together and capture your love story in the most incredible nature locations.
